There are several traditions of the Prophet stressing upon the importance of Lailatul Jaiza. Lailatul Jaiza is also one of the five night where God accepts our prayers. We must seek God’s forgiveness for sins committed intentionally or unintentionally.
Lailatul Jaiza means Night of Rewards. Lailatul Jaiza is the night before Eidul Fitr. This night is considered to be one of the most important nights, a blessed night, and a night to offer prayers and supplications.
The Prophet of Islam is reported to have said: Whoever stands up (in worship) in this night will have his invocations accepted by God.

There is no specific prayer for this night. But Muslims can engage in Namaz, dhikr, recitation of the Quran and reflect upon the Quran.
The Prophet did not sleep in the night preceding the day of Eid al Fitr. He used to engage in Nafl prayers all night.
The Quran has this to say: And seek forgiveness of Allah; surely Allah is forgiving, compassionate.” (73:20)
There is another verse in the Quran in this regard: “And whoever does evil, or wrongs his own soul, but afterwards seeks Allah’s forgiveness will find Allah is forgiving, compassionate.” (4:110)
Therefore, we must take full advantage of this blessed night.
